Install ibus-m17n,ibus-qt4,ibus-gtk,ibus-gtk3
log off and restart Xserver (ALT+E)
login and open system-> ibus
Open ibus preference , go to input methods and add itrans input methods mozhi for malayalam(menu may seems like disabled but it is not)
it might not available for open office/ Libre office then open it from Konsole by
OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome soffice
if gnome based application doesn't start in KDE(crash during start)
change Gtk+appearance from system settings-> ApplicationAppearance
it might work.
